» Chandani Chowk : The hub of major commercial activities in Delhi, this is a place situated in Old Delhi. You can spend an enjoyable evening in this hub and labyrinth of zig zag place and narrow lanes.

» Humayun's Tomb : Built by Humayun's widowed Queen Haji Begum, in the sixteenth century. It stands at a place called Nizammuddin.

» India Gate : This is a 42-meter-high building, built as a memorial for the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in world war I. A flame is burnt beneath it to keep the place eternally charged.

» Jama Masjid : This largest mosque in India is located opposite to the Red fort. It was constructed in 1656 and is an reminder of religious devoutness of the Mughals.

Museums and Galleries in Delhi

The Modern Art Gallery displays the modern Indian art . Besides this, institutions like Lalit Kala Academy, Ravindra Bhawan, Triveni Gallery and AIFACS Gallery also display the Indian art.

National Musem offers collation of antique crafts, stone carvings and artefacts. Interestingly, some of them are from the Harappa and Mohenjadaro. Another museum to focus on ecology is the National Museum of Natural History.
